“The Courage Expert” ™
Even to call one’s self a courage expert has to take some spunkiness. So Sandra Ford Walston shows her mettle even before you get to her website–or her book (Courage: The Heart and Spirit of Every Woman)– or her public speaking.
(A “handle” like Courage Expert, BTW, is part of what is meant by a writer having a platform, as discussed a couple of weeks ago in my post about the book Get Known Before the Book Deal: Use Your Personal Strengths to Grow an Author Platform.)
Do have a look at Walston’s courage work. One idea I like she puts in a headline: “With Courage, Your Passion Cannot Be Doused.” That’s some serious motivation. It also works in reverse: with passion, your courage can’t be doused.
Maybe I’ll start calling myself the chutzpah maven, the boldness behemoth, or the smartmouth motivator. Ignore my attitude: this kind of positioning of oneself is important and serious business; it helps us get our work out and our messages across. Plus, Walston’s book is ranking mighty well on Amazon. Could be she also knows her stuff.
