A Partially Virtual Holiday Get-Together

First time I've tried the big-screen approach to a holiday dinner.  Husband Bob and I on the left came from North Carolina to Arizona to have Thanksgiving with my stepson Jay and his fiance Amanda (she's the photographer) and while we ate dinner around a coffee table, my older stepson Chuck ate with us in his apartment in China via Skype and big flat-screen TV.  Kinda cool.  Proves once again that holidays can be happily celebrated every which-a-way.

Skype rocks!!  We use it to "talk" with Eric's girls who are far off in Japan and Germany these days.  The world is smaller and smaller.

    Happy Holidays!!

Happy Holidays to you, Beth. And I suppose I shouldn’t quibble but I tend to look a bit ill on Skype. Disconcerting….
